Charles Price

Charles Edmond Price of Mineral Point, Missouri, departed this life, on December 23, 2006, at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 11 days. He was born on August 12, 1932, a son of the late Robert Price and Sarah (Cain) Price.

Edmond, as he was known to family and friends, was united in marriage to Zelda Jean Mosier on June 7, 1952 at Pocahontas, Arkansas and two children were born to this union. His wife preceded him in death on March 29, 2001. Edmond worked as a setup man in a metal stamping plant. He entered the ministry in 1963and spent several years traveling throughout many states as an evangelist. He then served as a Pastor in St. Louis for many years, ending his ministry as Pastor of the Full Gospel Church in Potosi, Missouri.

In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son Dennis Ray price, three brothers Roland, Marvin and Maxim Price and a granddaughter Marcia Price.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his son Roger Dale Price and wife Stephanie of Mineral Point; a sister Ruby Cain and husband Virgil of House Springs; five grandchildren, Robin, Christine, Jennifer, Anrada, and Roger Dale, II; sixteen great-grandchildren, Josh, Mike, Aaron, Alicia, Lauren, Danielle, Sadie, Benina Caley, Reece, Logan, Rachel, Katilin, Halley, Amanda, and Christian; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Britton Chapel, with Rev. Jim Ramsawh officiating. Interment was in the Price-Mosier Cemetery, with all arrangements entrust in the care of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
