Charles Howard Potter of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on October 25, 2005 at his residence, having reached the age of 60 years, 1 month and 8 days. He was born on September 17, 1945 at Poplar Bluff, Missouri, a son of the late Taft Howard Potter and Minnie (Couch) Potter.

Charles was united in marriage to Eddie Sue Potter on September 10, 1990 at St. Louis, Missouri. Eddie Sue preceded him in death.

Charles served his Country in the United States Navy. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a beloved father and grandfather, dear brother, uncle, nephew and friend.

Those who remain to mourn his passing of this life include his daughters, Wanda Rice and husband Dennis of House Springs, Robin Kelley of Rolla, Bonnie Couch of Poplar Bluff, Christine Camman and husband Mike of St. Louis, Kim McBride and husband Rick of Collinsville, IL, Casey Jernigan of St. Louis; his sons, John Klinker and wife Mary of Bentonville, AR, Bobby Klinker of St. Louis, Timmy Potter of Rolla, Michael Potter of Rolla, Jimmy Mitchell of St. Louis and Walter Mitchell of St. Louis; his sister, Loretta Ratliff and husband Carter of Cadet; and his brother, Norman Potter and wife Ruth of Neelyville; nineteen grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Memorial services were conducted at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Mark Boyster officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
