Charles Mouser

Charles Raine Mouser of Greenwood, Louisiana, formerly of Belgrade, Missouri passed away on May 5, 2008 at Willis Knighton Medical Center, Shreveport, Louisiana. He was born on May 19, 1927 at Flat River, Missouri, a son of the late John P. Mouser and Lula Jane (Jaco) Mouser.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Estelle Irene (Morton) Mouser; a step daughter, Mary Myers; two brothers, Raymond Mouser, Homer Mouser; and a sister, Gearldean Mouser.
He was a long time member of the Tyro Masonic Lodge #12 and Order of the Eastern Star.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include two sons, Charles Mouser of Greenwood, LA, John Mouser and wife, Donna of Owatonna, MN; four daughters, Veronica Mouser of Cape Girardeau, Frances Thompson and husband, Daniel of East Moline, IL, Kathy Hittler and husband, Rick of St. Louis, Pat Hill and husband David of Potosi; a brother, John Mouser and wife, Connie of LaCenter, Washington State; a sister, Ruby Bradley of Fairview Heights, IL; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 1 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Wayne Gibson officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Larry Hill, Tim Hill, Paul Vestal, Josh Courtway, Drew Hostetler, Dillon Hostetler, Seth Hill and David Hill.
Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
