Charles Belfield

Charles Lee Belfield of Sullivan, Missouri, was born on July 7, 1943, in Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Floyd Belfield and Bertha (Kiddy) Belfield. Charles departed this life on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Mercy Hospital South having reached the age of 80.

Those who remain to treasure his memory include his daughter, Cynthis Belfield and Eric Voss; five grandchildren; brother, Michael Belfield; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In addition to Charles’s parents, he was preceded in death by his wife and mother of their children, Fairy (Strange) Belfield; two sons: Brock Benjamin Belfield and John Joseph Belfield; and brother, Kenny Belfield.

Charles thoroughly enjoyed mining for gold in Victor, Colorado, working on antique and classic cars, and working on his property with his tractor. Charles also found joy in collecting antiques and watching antique roadshows. Above all, Charles loved his family and cherished the time spent with them, especially his grandchildren.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 11 a.m. until his Memorial Service beginning at 1 p.m. held at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, MO 63664. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. DeClue Funeral Home is caring for the arrangements and services of Mr. Charles Belfield.
