Catherine Luther

Catherine Doris Luther of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on May 15, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of sixty nine years, seven months and fifteen days. She was born on September 30, 1940 at Cadet, Missouri a daughter to the late John Pickett and Sarah (Eckhoff) Pickett.

On September 10, 1960, ?Pooch? was united in marriage to Robert ?Bob? Luther. They shared forty nine years together.

?Pooch? was a member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, ?Pooch? was preceded in death by two sons David Allen Luther, Billy Joe Luther; two brothers Marvin Pickett, Jesse ?Tut? Pickett and two sisters Bertha Rowden and Elizabeth Pickett.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Robert ?Bob? Luther of Cadet; sons Jeffery Luther wife Dawn of Farmington; Donnie Luther wife Kelly of Cadet; daughters Phyllis Wills husband Gary of Cadet; Paula Thurman and Fianc? Denny Goodson of Cadet; Marilyn Dawson husband Rob of Cadet; sister Faye Luther husband Paul of Cadet; brother Henry Pickett wife Leona of Cadet; seventeen grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

Funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 10 AM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Father Ted Peiper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Cody Dawson, Rob Dawson, Jeff Luther, Donnie Luther, Jimmy Thurman and Gary Wills.

Interment and final prayers were held at St. Joseph Cemetery, Tiff. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
