Carolyn Morgan

Carolyn Marie Morgan of Bloomsdale, Missouri departed this life on April 6, 2009 at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center having reached the age of sixty three years, one month and twenty days. She was born on February 17, 1946 at Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Lawrence Dicus and Genevieve Vance Dicus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an three brothers Leroy Dicus, Jimmy Dicus and infant brother David Dicus; sister Vicky Dicus.

On September 15, 1962, Carolyn married Earl ?Wayne? Morgan and they shared forty six years together. Carolyn was a member of the High Point Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are her husband Earl ?Wayne? Morgan of Bloomsdale; daughter Tammy Morgan of Desoto; two sons Larry Morgan and wife Gail of Bloomsdale; John Morgan and wife Angie of St. Genevieve; brother Troy Dicus and wife Dorothy of Salisbury, MO; step sister Darlene Skiles; six grandchildren Cody Isbell, Kayla Morgan, Shelby Morgan, Hanna Morgan, Nicholas Morgan and Robert Shultz; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 1PM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Dale Blount officiating. Serving as pallbearers were James Dicus, Jr, Michael Dicus, Stephen Dicus, Billy Huff, Brad Dicus and Tommy Dicus.

Interment and final prayers were held at High Point Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
