Carol Ann Graf of Cadet, Missouri, was born on October 14, 1946 in Kimmswick, Missouri, a daughter of the late William E. and Juanita L. (Ritterbush) Luebke. Carol passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, July 25, 2023 at her home at the age of 76. Carol was united in marriage to David Graf on September 2, 1966, and they spent 42 years together before he passed away on September 25, 2008.
Carol was a loving wife, mom, and grandma. Family was her everything, especially her grandbabies. Her world revolved around them. Carol worked for many years at the Flat River Glass Factory until her retirement. After retiring from the glass factory, Carol worked for many years with the North County School District. Throughout her life, Carol enjoyed gardening vegetables with her husband, Dave, as well as her flower gardens. Carol also enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, and her frog collection. Carol was the rock of her family. She will be remembered as a loving and generous person.
Those who remain to treasure her memory include her two daughters: Juanita (Randy) Courtway and Deborah (Graden) Barnett; six grandchildren: Barbara (Devon) DeClue, Dustin Courtway and Chelsea, William (Amy) Courtway, Ryan Breakfield and fiance Abbi, Daren Barnett, and Kodie Minks-Jones; numerous great grandchildren; five brothers: Harold (Dori) Luebke, Ralph Luebke, Robert Luebke, Raymond (Sally) Luebke, and William Luebke. Carol also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and family members.
In addition to her father and mother, Carol was preceded in death by her husband, David G. Graf; two sisters: Marjorie Untinen and Arlene Hedrick; sister-in-law, Marilyn Luebke; as well as many other dear family members.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Friday, July 28, from 9 am until the time of her Funeral Service at 11 am held in the DeClue Chapel. Interment will follow in the Graf-Courtway Family Cemetery, Cadet, MO. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the COPD Association, 3300 Ponce de Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134 or to the American Lung Association, 55 Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
