Carol Cullins

Carol Ann Cullins of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on May 17, 2014 at her residence having reached the age of sixty nine years, six months and nineteen days. She was born on October 28, 1944 in Marquand, Missouri a daughter to the late Wilbern Shrum and Jane (Brown) Shrum.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her grandmother Anne Leslie Brown, sister Darlene Eye and uncle Charlie Brown.
On February 24, 1967, Carol was united in marriage to Marshall Cullins and they shared forty seven years together.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Marshall Cullins of Potosi; three daughters Karen Sue Smith of St. Louis, Michele Renee Cullins of Jackson, Elizabeth Jane Ann Hilkemeyer and husband Robert of Potosi; two brothers Rev. Ronald Wilbern Shrum and wife Janis of Sikeston, Rev. William Charles Jacob Shrum and wife Karen of Farmington; grandson Kaleb Marshall Hilkemeyer; two precious pups Maggi and Nelli; two granddaughters; two great grandsons; one great granddaughter; nephews Kelly Eye and wife Kellie), Rev. Kevin Shrum and wife Janet, Rev. Eric Shrum and wife Teresa; nieces Rhadonda Sedgwick and husband Jon, Cindy Kopp, Natalie Eye, Angela Tompkins and husband Rob, Jessica Sheckles and husband Matt, Mindy Comer and husband Jake; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Scott Douglas officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Lane Morgan, Boone Morgan, Andrew Farris, Mathew Shackles, and Donald Eye. Honorary pallbearers were Kelly Eye and Kaleb Hilkemeyer.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
