Carlton Wren

July 4, 1939 — March 12, 2016

Carlton Truman Wren of Belgrade, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at his residence having reached the age of seventy six years, eight months and eight days. He was born on July 4, 1939 in Arab, Missouri, a son to the late Floyd Wren and the late Geneva (Henson) Wren.

On February 21, 1960, Carl was united in marriage to Minnie McKnight in Puxico, Missouri and they shared Fifty six years together.

Carl is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Minnie Wren of Belgrade, Missouri; son Carl Wren and wife Bernice of Wright City, Missouri; granddaughter Cieara Wren of Ballwin, Missouri; great granddaughter Madison Wren; also surviving are other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his sister Glenda Faye Wren.

Carlton was the greatest husband and father anyone could ever hope for in our lifetime. He loved to hunt and fish. He had wisdom and common sense that was second to no one. He will live on in eternity through us. He will be loved and missed. Thank you, Dad, we love you.

Friends may call on the family Monday, March 14, 2016 from 5-8 pm and Tuesday, March 15, from 9-11 am at the DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, Missouri 63664.

A funeral service for Carl will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 11 am held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ardell Gray officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery, Caledonia, Missouri. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
