Carleton Quesnel

Carleton Marcel Quesnel, of Potosi, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Des Peres Hospital, at the age of 79. Carl was born on August 5, 1936, in New York, a son to the late Marcel Quesnel and the late Evelyn (Biggs) Quesnel.
On June 2, 1991, Carl was united in marriage to Carol Duty and the shared twenty five years together. Carl was a member of the Caledonia United Methodist Church. He bravely served his country in the United States Army.
Carl is survived by his beloved wife, Carol Quesnel of Potosi; one son, Eric Quesnel and wife Josie of St. Louis; two grandsons, Joshua and Johnathan Quesnel; also surviving are many dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Havenier.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 4:30-8:00 PM and Wednesday, June 22, from 9:00-11:00 AM at the DeClue Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Reverend Rick Lasley officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery were Carl will receive full military honors presented by the United States Army and Local VFW Post 6996.
Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
