Carl Curtis Valley of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life February 8, 2010 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of sixty seven years, three months and eleven days. He was born on October 28, 1942 at Mineral Point, Missouri a son to the late Fred Valley and Edna (Quillman) Valley.
In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a daughter Angel Valley; two brothers Georgie Valley, Mack Valley; three sisters Charallette Valley, Viola Callahan, Lena Wombo and great grandson Jothana Lake.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are wife Lillie Valley of Mineral Point; son Carl Valley and wife Trina of Mineral Point; two daughters Melissa Clapp and husband Tuffy of Cadet; Virginia Clapp and husband Anthony of Mississippi; sister Mary Ann Emily and husband Herb of Mineral Point; brother Johnny Valley and wife Bonnie of Mineral Point; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Don Strauser officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Donald Fowler, Joashua Fowler, Gary Emily, Anthony Clapp Jr., Adam Lake, and Lonnie Clapp.
Interment and final prayers were held at Griffin Family Cemetery, Mineral Point. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
