Carl Thompson

Carl Leo Thompson was born on August 13, 1937 in Potosi, Missouri, a son to the late Oren Thompson and the late Blanche Schrum.

Carl entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2017 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy-nine years, seven months, and twenty-six days.

Carl will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved him including his two sons: Leo Thompson and wife Debbie of Potosi and Jon Thompson of Cadet; step sons Kenny Blair and wife Angie and Danny Blair and wife Melissa step daughter Debbie Blair; brother, Terry Thompson of Cadet; five grandchildren: Shaun, Janae, Tabitha, Angela, and Amy; two great grandchildren; step grandchildren and and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his daughter: Melanie Schmoeller; and brothers: Junior, Thomas Larry, and James Thompson.

Visitation for Carl was held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home, beginning at 10:00 AM.
A funeral service began at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
