Carl Stuthers

Carl Leon Stuthers of Festus, Missouri passed away on January 26, 2015 at Mercy Jefferson having reached the age of seventy four years, three months, and fifteen days. He was born on October 11, 1940 a son to the late Harrison William Stuthers and Lottie (Boyster) Stuthers.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his beloved wife Rachel Stuthers of Festus, Missouri; daughter Janice Hill of Festus, Missouri; grandchildren Cody Hill and Joshua Hill of Festus, Missouri; sisters: Marie Alphin and husband Lowrell of Arnold, Missouri, Susie Warden and husband Paul of Farmington, Missouri, and Linda Stanfill of Festus, Missouri.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his son-in-law Ronald Hill; four brothers: Edward Stuthers, William (Bill) Stuthers, Roy Stuthers, and Otis Stuthers; and three sisters: Edna Mitchell, Maggie Fowler, and Ellie Stuthers.

Funeral services for Carl were held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating.

Honoring Carl by serving as his pallbearers were Nathan Stuthers, Daniel Stuthers, Nathan DeClue, David Kavanaush, Cody Hill, and Roger Fowler.
Interment and final prayers were held at the New Diggins Cemetery. All funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
