Brittany Nickles

Brittany Lee Nickles, or ?B-Bit?, as she was known to those who were closest to her, was suddenly called to be with the angels on December 6, 2007, having reached the age of eighteen years, one month and twenty-two days. She was born on October 14, 1989 at Farmington, Missouri, a beautiful daughter of Dennis Nickles and Rochelle (Gamble) Nickles.

B-Bit was a 2007 graduate of Kingston High School and was currently attending the Mineral Area College and working at the YMCA of the Ozarks; she attended the New Beginnings Full Gospel Church, where she was very active in their Missions Outreach of helping the hurting. She lived with her grandma Sandye for fourteen years and she was her special B-Bit.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Ross Nickles, her maternal grandfather, Ross (Bud) Gamble; great grandfather Bufford Nickles, niece Amanda Cross, cousins Joel Gamble, Sgt. Amanda Pinson, Matthew Pinson and Michael Pinson.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her parents, Dennis and Rochelle Nickles of Mineral Point; her maternal grandparents, Sandra and Jim Cartee of Mineral Point; her paternal grandfather, Tom Nickles of Potosi, her paternal grandmother, Virginia Nickles of Mineral Point; five sisters, Ruby Moss and husband Jesse of Mineral Point, Destiny Buhler and husband Scott of Mineral Point, Cassandra Nickles, Cierra Cheyenne Nickles and Katelyn Lacole Nickles, all of Mineral Point; a brother, Jordy Thomas Nickles of Mineral Point; aunts & uncles Ross Gamble and wife Melody, David Gamble and wife Wanda and Lawana Gamble; cousin Austina Gamble; niece Carlee Moss; baby nephew David Buhler; adopted nieces and nephews Ariona, Jaden and Jarren (J.T.) Kanans, Mahallie Skaggs and Emmalee Weeks; adoptive parents Juanita Shepard and Jeff Weeks; adopted brother and sisters Nathan Weeks, Anna Weeks Skaggs, Jamie Kanan Cross; special friends April Hammond, Shawn Pierce, Christopher Misuraco, Warren Rogers, K-She Vance, Matt Conway and Bradley Pickett, nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her smiling face.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, December 9, 2007 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Jim Cartee, Rev. David Gamble and Rev. Lloyd Shepard officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Ross Gamble, Chris Misuraco, Joe Emily, Jesse Moss, Kristi Gamble and Nathan weeks; serving as honorary pallbearers were Randy, Bourbon, Mike Misuraco, Scott Buhler, Warren Rogers, Brad Pickett, Joe Courtois and Matt Conway.

Interment and final prayers were held at New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
