Bridget Sampson

November 18, 1983 — February 1, 2024

Bridget Estelle Sampson went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 1, 2024, after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. Bridget passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family and friends at the age of 40. Bridget was born on November 18th, 1983, in Potosi, Missouri, a daughter to Nolon Sansoucie Sr. and Gloria Ryon.

On September 25th, 2004, Bridget married Joesph Sampson, and together they welcomed their two children, Curtis and Dakota, into the world. Bridget’s greatest joy in life was that of being a mother. Bridget’s selflessness and willingness to lend a hand were hallmarks of her character. Bridget had the heart of a servant. She left an incredible mark on the lives of all who knew her. In addition to her servant's heart, Bridget will fondly be remembered as an avid animal lover and those who knew her never knew what animal she would bring home next. Bridget had the greatest sense of humor and had a somewhat stubborn streak. The legacy of strength that Bridget has left behind will forever be etched within our hearts.

Those who remain to treasure her memory include her husband, Joseph Sampson; son, Curtis Sampson, and girlfriend, Kaylynn Barton; daughter, Dakota Sampson; father, Nolon Sansoucie (wife, Gerry); siblings: Nolon Sansoucie Jr., Shawn Sansoucie (wife, Ann), Heather Meyer (husband, Matthew), Amanda Hindman (husband, Brian), Nicki Morgan (husband, Derek), and Shane Sansoucie. Bridget also leaves behind her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Joe and Joyce Sampson; as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to Bridget’s grandparents, whom she loved so much, she was preceded in death by her dear mother, Gloria Ryon.
