Brian Skaggs

Brian Donald Skaggs of Mineral Point was born on January 24, 1983, a son to Donald L. Skaggs and Rosemary (Silvey) Skaggs. Brian entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Mercy Jefferson Hospital having reached the age of thirty-four years.

Brian will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his parents, Donald and Rosemary Skaggs of Mineral Point; brother, Eric (Beth) Skaggs of Mineral Point; sister Deanna (Eric) Coleman of Farmington; dear nieces and nephews: Joshua Skaggs, Ty Wilson, Noah Skaggs, Erica Skaggs, Jasmine Coleman, Mac Coleman, and Nolan Coleman; and also special aunts and uncles: Joanne (Tom) Marler, Jane (Ron) Perigen, Pat Politte, Pete (Donita) Skaggs, and Rita Owens.

Brian is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Paul and Violet Skaggs; maternal grandparents: Orville and Anna Silvey; and his uncle, Frank Silvey.

Visitation for Brian was held on Tuesday, December 12, 201 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

A Funeral Service was conducted on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Thurman officiating.

Interment and final prayers was held at the New Diggins Cemetery.

All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
