Brenda Sherman-King

Brenda Sue Sherman-King of Park Hills, Missouri was born on February 21, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter of the late Floyd Marler and the late Ellen Jane (Wiggins) Marler. Brenda passed away on Friday, June 14, 2019 having reached the age of sixty-six years, eleven months and twenty-four days.

Brenda will be missed by all who knew and loved her, including her husband, Jack King; three daughters: Sherry Sherman and Fiancé Tim McCarver, Shelia Serini-Morgan and husband Richard, Chelsea Wishon and husband Chuck; six siblings: Wesley (Carolyn) Marler, Patricia (Gary) Golden, Donnie Marler, Gary Marler, Kevin (Misty) Marler, and Lisa (Brian) Swem; seven grandchildren: Ricky Sherman, Timmy Nicholson and Fiancé Ashley Gowen, Trenton Serini, William Serini, Brittany (Jarred) Ragsdale, Jaren Wishon and Cayden Wishon; eight great grandchildren; four step children: John King, Jeannette Hooton, Michael King, and Lisa Hedrick; also surviving are step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.

In addition to her father and mother, Brenda was preceded in death by her first husband, William "Bill" Sherman and one sister, Debbie (Bowyer) Coleman.

Visitation will be Friday, June, 21, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 22, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, beginning at 11:00 AM held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Pastor Gary Golden will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Diggins Cemetery.
