Brenda Matchell

Brenda Lorraine Matchell of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on March 16, 2012 at her residence having reached the age of sixty four years, six months and seven days. She was born on September 9, 1947 at Valley Park, Missouri a daughter to the late Anthony Matchell and Mary (Coleman) Matchell.
Brenda was a 15 year breast cancer survivor.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a brother Larry Matchell.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are a daughter Julie Hughes and fiancé Duane Kramer of Sullivan; son Joshua Johnston of Sullivan; brother Jerry Matchell of Potosi; seven grandchildren Jade, Joshua, Cole, Devon, Parker, Myles, Carson; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
A memorial service was conducted on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at 7 PM at the Grassy Hollow Baptist Church with Rev. Dwight Petete officiating.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
