Blanche “Eyvonne” Skaggs of Farmington, Missouri, was born on April 23, 1950, in Ironton, Missouri, a daughter of the late Lester Glenwood Tedder and Zelda Maureen (Wilcut) Tedder. Eyvonne passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, having reached the age of seventy-two years, and one day.
Those who remain to cherish her memory include her children: Deanna Maxwell (husband, Tony), Ella Simms, Jim Skaggs (wife, Sabrina), April Taylor (husband, Chuck), Joe Blankenship (wife, Stacy), Tony Skaggs, Chad Skaggs (wife, Becky), Nick Skaggs (wife, Ashley); grandchildren: Phillip Maxwell, Michael Maxwell, Derick Elders, Jordan Nicholson, Mitchell Skaggs, Amanda Blankenship, Rhiannon Blankenship, Ciara German, Benji German, Adelynne Blankenship, Andrew Skaggs, Alex Skaggs, Kelsey Richards, Jacob Skaggs, Kylee Skaggs, Jocelyn Skaggs, Beckett Skaggs, and Wrenley Skaggs; great-grandchildren: Alex, Luci, Lilli, Emma, Scarlett, And Everleigh; husband of 30 years and longtime dear friend, Dean Skaggs; companion in her final years, Bill Bramley; siblings: Elaine (Tedder) Hampton, Mike (Margie) Tedder, Mitch (Sandy) Tedder, and Leon Breeding. Eyvonne is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Eyvonne was preceded in death by her infant siblings, and sister, Toni Boesch.
Eyvonne loved to travel, write, reading books, listening to music, playing the piano, dancing, and baking. She was also known to paint beautifully. Her family and grandchildren were her life, and she will be sadly missed!
A visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2022, from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will continue Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 11 am to 1 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 1 pm at the DeClue Memorial Chapel, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664. Interment will follow at Sunlight Cemetery in Belgrade.
