Billy Skaggs

Billy Junior Skaggs of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on June 18, 2011 at his residence having reached the age of eighty years, eight months and twenty two days. He was born on September 27, 1930 at Potosi, Missouri a son to the late Glen Skaggs and Lucinda (Trokey) Skaggs
On May 28, 1971, Bill was united in marriage to Elaine Eye and they shared forty years together.
Bill was a member of the Twin River Worship Center.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother Jack Skaggs.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Elaine Skaggs of Potosi; four sons Steve Skaggs of Potosi, Kelly Skaggs of Potosi, Bill Fraley of Arizona, Jeff McEntire and wife Michelle of Desoto; daughter Janet Wagner and husband Jeff of Herculaneum; three sisters Delores Anderton and husband Bing of Idaho, Patsy McAtee and husband Frank of Hawaii, Phyllis Fisher and husband Wayne of Stover, MO; eleven grandchildren Garret, Oliva, Shane, Emma, Tony and fiancé Deseriee, Tommy, Cody, Anna and husband Cameron Price, Jessie, Alyssa and Brett; three great grandchildren Chloe, Josie, Kennedy; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
A Funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Pastor Brian Cutshall officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tony McEntire, Tommy McEntire, Jeff McEntire, Cody McEntire, Cameron Price and Jeff Wagner.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
