Bill Wright

Kenneth William Wright, also known as Bill to family and friends, of Potosi, Missouri was born on August 23, 1940, in Perryville, Missouri, a son to the late Harold Wright and the late Sarah (Hart) Wright. Bill entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at his residence having reached the age of seventy-nine years and thirty days.

Bill will be missed by all who loved and knew him including his son, Billy Wright; daughter, Melinda (and husband, Scott) Slates; three siblings: Jean Knupp, Patsy Scott, and Brad (and wife, Wilma) Wright; five grandchildren: Dylan Wright, Matt (and wife, Sarah) Gibson, Katie Gibson, Jessica Slates, and Jake ( and wife, Lacey) Slates; four great grandchildren: Conner Gibson, Adalynn Gibson, Kaiden Gibson and Evelyn Slates; mother of his children: Sondra Wright; and many dear nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Sarah Wright.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Thursday, September 26, 2019, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

A funeral service to honor Bill will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 26, 2019, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bill Brammer officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at Redbud Memorial Gardens, Potosi, Missouri.
