Beulah Townsend

Beulah Bernice Townsend of Mineral Point, was born on March 16, 1948 in Bonne Terre, Missouri, a daughter of the late John and Narcissus (Lawson) Cain. Beulah passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, having reached the age of 75.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her siblings: Helen Cantrell, Albert Cain (wife, Carol); and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Townsend; siblings: Elaine Hasty, Juanita Cain, Oneida Cain, Edward “Eddie” Cain, Virgil Cain, James “Jim” Cain, Leroy Cain, and Fredia Niehaus.

Beulah loved reading her bible, daily, and going to church when she was able. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, baking, the outdoors, doing yard work, fishing, and planting flowers. She loved spending time with her family and gathering with them on all occasions.

Visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2023, from 10:30 am until the time of her Funeral Service at 2pm, at DeClue Funeral Home, 301 E High St, Potosi, MO 63664. Pastor Paul Tindall will officiate Beulah’s Service. Interment will follow at New Diggins Cemetery.
