Betty Zimmer

Betty (Roberts) Zimmer of Winfield, Missouri was born on April 12, 1942 in Dillard, Missouri. Betty was a daughter to the late Bradford Roberts and the late Mildred (Medley) Roberts. On July 11, 1964, Betty was united in marriage to her beloved husband Robert Zimmer. Together they shared fifty three years and two children were born unto this union.
Betty entered into eternal rest on January 15, 2017 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital having reached the age of seventy four years, nine months, and three days.
Betty is survived by her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Zimmer of Winfield; son, Charles “Chuck” Zimmer and wife Laura of Kansas City; daughter, Dena Scott and husband Mike of Quincy, Illinois; two sisters: Edna Hinkle and husband Harold of Mineral Point, and Irene Ficke and husband Lee of St. Robert; four grandchildren: Jacob Zimmer, Samuel Zimmer, Austin Crane, and Dylan Crane; special nieces: Paige Hinkle and Makyah Marler; and also surviving are many more nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her sister, Francis Mason and husband Rev. Elbert; and son-in-law, Donald Crane.
Visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Thursday, January 19, 2017, beginning at 11:00 AM.
A funeral service to honor Betty will begin at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 19, 2017, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeffrey L. Gowen officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
