Betty June Yarbrough of Potosi, Missouri went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, having reached the age of eighty two years, six months and twelve days. She was born on September 8, 1933 in Mitchell, Missouri, a daughter to the late Leslie Wilson and the late Thelma (Briley) Wilson.
On July 4, 1994, Betty was united in marriage to Paul Yarbrough in Potosi, Missouri and they shared nearly twenty three years together.
Betty is survived by her beloved husband Paul Yarbrough of Potosi; two sisters Doris Gamble and husband Thomas of Potosi; Erma Beers of Desloge; brother Lester Wilson and wife Joan of Desloge; sister-in-law Jeanie Carpenter of Sullivan; also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister Bonnie Hanson; nephews Douglas and Tony Gamble; brother-in-law Muriel Yarbrough and sister-in-law Charlotte Yarbrough.
Visitation was held Tuesday, March 23, 2016 from 4:30-8:00 pm and Wednesday from 9:00-11:00 am at the DeClue Funeral Home.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, March 24, 2016 at 11:00 am held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. H. Wayne Isgriggs officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
