Betty Williams

Betty Jean Williams of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on November 15, 2009 at the Des Peres Hospital having reached the age of seventy three years, five months and six days. She was born on June 9, 1936 at Cadet, Missouri a daughter to the late James Cain and Evelyn Price.

On December 16, 1966, Betty was united in marriage to Willard Williams and they shared thirty years together. Willard preceded Betty October 26, 1997.

Betty was a member of the Harvest Christian Centre.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a first husband Orville DeClue, sister Anna Mae Curtis; brother Homer Cain and a niece Danielle ?Mimi? DeClue.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are four sons Tony DeClue and wife Robyn of Hillsboro; Randy Williams and wife Tina of Hazelwood, Kenneth Williams and wife Monica of O?Fallon, Marvin Williams of St. Louis; daughter Linda Russell and husband Tom of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sisters Mildred Campbell of St. Louis, Genny Meador and husband Robert of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ethel DeClue of Potosi; brother Bill Cain and wife Judy of Cadet; seven grandchildren Brooke DeClue, Steven Williams, Daniel Williams, Brandon Williams, Melissa Williams, Hailey Dunn, Russell Lewis; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Dwight Jones officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Kenny Williams, Randy Williams, Marvin Williams, Daniel Williams, Steven Williams, Randy Cain and Keith Curtis.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
