Betty Louise Thompson of Potosi, Missouri was born on November 16, 1937 in Washington County, a daughter to the late Horace and Theresa Peace. Betty entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Saint Francois Medical Center having reached eighty years of age.
Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her two sons: Leo Thompson and Debbie of Potosi, and Jon Thompson of Cadet; two sisters: Diane Akers of Potosi, and Anita Portell of Potosi; five grandchildren: Shaun, Janae, Tabitha, Angela, and Amy Thompson; and two great-grandchildren; also surviving is her longtime companion, Marvin Dicus, and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her daughter, Melanie Schmoeller; and siblings: Elmer Peace, Sharron Thompson, Sue Evans, and Wanda Peace.
All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
