Betty Sue Smith of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on May 16, 2015 having reached the age of sixty one years, nine months, and twenty days. She was born on July 26, 1953 a daughter to the late Horrace Lee Smith and Mabel Edith Braddock. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her beloved husband Glen Smith of Mineral Point, Missouri; four children: David Wayne Smith of Mineral Point, Missouri, Stephanie Ann Smith of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Kevin Eugene Smith and wife Lacey of Park Hills, Missouri, and Aaron James Smith of Cadet, Missouri; five step-children: Robin Bays and husband Chance of Eminence, Missouri, Paula Fritchl and husband Joe of Arnold, Missouri, Kathy Smith of St. Claire, Missouri, Crystal Henry and husband Bob of Winona, Missouri, and Glen Smith; four brothers: Carl Smith and wife Brenda of Mineral Point, Missouri, Jerry Smith of St. Louis, Missouri, Richard Smith, and Paul Smith; grandchildren: Sarah, Ashley, Christina, Danielle, Madison, Gracie, Vincent, and Alex; twenty two step-grandchildren; and also numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her step-son Gary Wayne Smith, granddaughter Courtney Ann Smith, sister Jean Smith, and two brothers: Gary Smith and Hank Smith. In her spare time Betty enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She would always look forward to the holidays and get-togethers. She enjoyed watching the Young and the Restless. Family was her number one priority. She will be very missed and loved by all. Visitation for Betty was held on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM. All arrangements were cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
