Betty Price

Betty Lee Price of Imperial, formerly of Potosi, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at her residence, having reached the age of eighty one years, six months and twenty six days. She was born on June 7, 1934 in Blackwell, Missouri, a daughter of the late James R. Thurman and the late Florence M. (Davis) Thurman. She graduated Valedictorian of her 8th grade class in Cruise school.

Betty is survived by two sons Karl Jeffry Thurman of Cadet; James Theodore Villmer and wife Jennifer of Belleview, Missouri; one daughter Mary P. Luebbers of Imperial, Missouri; four sisters Juanita Daugherty and husband Joe of Cadet; Ina Fitzgerald and husband Bob of Florida; Doris DeClue of Florida; Debra Cordy of Pittsburgh, PA.; also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Price; granddaughter Audrey Villmer; three brothers Monty Thurman, James "Junior" Thurman, and William "Billy" Thurman; niece Jane Luebbers and longtime companion Lee Toppings.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
