Betty Lou Richards-Pratt of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on May 8, 2011 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of sixty seven years, three months and twenty two days. She was born on January 16, 1944 at St. Louis, Missouri a daughter to the late Lee Richards and Gladys (Henson) Richards.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her first husband Garry Dale Riddle Sr.; son Garry Dale Riddle, Jr.; two brothers Johnny Richards, Skeezix Richards; three brothers in law Earl Link, Frank Temple, Russell Combs; sister in law Lydia Richards and son in law Francis Carter.
Betty had many interest but to name a few she loved crocheting, mushroom hunting, and being in the outdoors. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are three sons Greg Riddle and wife Debra of Cadet; Anthony Riddle and wife Julie of Potosi; Rocky Franklin and wife Jewely of Farmington; daughter Tina Carter and friend Chuck Vance of Potosi; three sisters Shirley Link of Hillsboro, Penny Skaggs and husband Frank of Dittmer, Juanita Combs of Point Pleasant, West Virginia; two brothers Jessie Richards of Potosi, Leman Richards and wife Linda of Cedar Hill; sister in law Glenda Richards of Branson; eight grandchildren Angie Carter of Potosi, Angela Timms of Potosi, Kayla Riddle of Potosi, Sara Riddle of Potosi, Dale Riddle of Potosi, Damian Franklin of Farmington, Kalina Franklin of Farmington, Luke Franklin of Farmington, Kolten Franklin of Farmington; one great grandchild Noah Carter; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
A Memorial service was held on Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 1 Pm at the DeClue Chapel.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
