Betty Lou Pinson of Potosi, Missouri, departed this life on January 2, 2009 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy nine years and three days. She was born on December 30, 1929 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter of the late Russell White and Josephine Trokey White.
She was united in marriage on December 6, 1961 to William George Pinson. Mr. Pinson preceded her in death on January 12, 2008.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are two daughters Susan Lloyd and husband Bobby of Little Rock, AR; Patricia Pinson of Potosi; brother Archie White and wife Margie of Farmington; two sisters Mildred Daily of St. Louis; Linda Wineinger and husband Kenny of St. Louis; two grandchildren Justin Lloyd and William Lloyd; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 10 AM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Justin Lloyd and Bobby Lloyd.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hill Cemetery of Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
On behalf of the family they would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Georgian Gardens and Hospice of Farmington for their loving and generous care that Mrs. Pinson received.
