Betty Link

Betty June Link of Salem, Missouri, was born on September 30, 1935, in Potosi, MO, a daughter of the late Issac and the late Effie Mae (Haggard) Benson. Betty passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 having reached the age of eighty-five years, nine months, and fifteen days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her son, Randy (Dottie) Link; adopted daughter, Debbie Hendrix; grandchildren: Nathan Link (Fiancé, Maria), Becky (Gene) Humphrey , Benjamin (Korra) Elliott , Christopher Link, Eric Krock (Fiancé Jessica), Lacey (Thomas) McMahan, Dustin Anderson, Kelsey (Mark) Stanley, Jayden Hicks, Heather Link, and Mandy Drennon; many great grandchildren; siblings: Ernie (Sharon) Benson, Linda (Clarence) Miner, and Joyce (Jim) Wilkerson; Brother in law, Troy (Dorothy) Link; Sisters in law: Norma (Ronald) Miller, Shirley Link (Vincent, deceased), and Shirley Link (Earl, deceased). Also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family, friends, and her beloved cat, Tom Tom.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Effie Benson; husband, Harold Raymond Link, married on June 6, 1952, and spent sixty-four years together; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Debbie Link; siblings: Jerri Holmes, Carol Miner, and Norma Jean Yount; daughter-in-law, Holly Link. She was also preceded in death by many other dear family members.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021, from 4:30 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from 9-11 am on Tuesday, July 20, 2021.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at 11 am at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro Gary Petty officiating, assisted by Pastor Gary Greenlee. Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens in Potosi, MO.
