Betty Lou Lashley, of Leadwood, Missouri, passed away on November 4, 2024 at her home, at the age of 76. Born on June 20, 1948, Betty was a vibrant individual whose laughter and warmth filled the lives of those around her. Betty is survived by her daughters, Stacy Glore and Laurie (John) Raker, and took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to her three grandchildren: Caleb, Harlie, and Sammy Glore; four great-grandchildren: Landon Glore, Mason Glore, Wyatt Larson, and Liam Drysdale; four siblings: Connie (Danny) Bradley, Diana Rawlins, Virgil (Marie) Barron, and Chris Stringer; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will forever hold her close in their hearts. Each moment spent with them was a testament to her loving nature and deep devotion to family.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Frank Davis, her mother, Hazel Stringer, her husband, Roger Wayne Lashley Sr., and her son, Roger Wayne Lashley Jr. She was also preceded in death by five siblings: Rita Pruitt, Glenda Brewer, Frankie Davis Jr., Nancy Davis, and Wayne Stringer.

Betty’s personality shone brightly; she had the ability to lighten the mood and bring joy to everyday moments. She found delight in simple pleasures, such as playing bingo and attending various churches, where her love for Jesus was evident. Her spirit of fun and laughter was infectious, and she left behind a legacy of love.

Betty's life was a testament to the power of laughter, love, and faith. She influenced everyone she met with her vivacity and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends. She will be dearly missed, yet the joyful memories and guiding spirit of Betty Lou Lashley will forever remain alive in the tales shared by those who loved her.

There will be no services for Betty. Arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
