Betty Jones

Betty Jane Jones of Villa Ridge, Missouri departed this life March 7, 2010 at the Marymount Manor Nursing Home in Eureka having reached the age of seventy seven years, two months and seven days. She was born on December 29, 1932 at Old Mines, Missouri a daughter to the late William Brim and Mable (Dunnigan) Brim.

In June 1963, Betty was united in marriage to John Jones. John preceded Betty in death on December 8, 2006.

Betty was a member of the Rockwood Bible Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a son Donald Damouth and a daughter Sue Cruise.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are five sons Jack Jones and wife Charolette of St. Louis; Mike Jones and wife Tammy of Labadie; Pat Jones and wife Val of Pacific; Gary Damouth of Cuba; two daughters Vickie Ahmed and husband Tony of St. Louis; Peggy Kustra and husband Ron of Ballwin; brother Glen Brim and wife Melba of Ballwin; fifteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 10 Am at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jack Jones, Mike Jones, Pat Jones, Justin Jones, Michael Jones, R.J. Durbin and Josh Carmack.

Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
