Betty Eckhoff

Betty Ruth Eckhoff of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on August 27, 2011 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital having reached the age of eighty one years, six months and twelve days. She was born on February 15, 1930 at Cadet, Missouri a daughter to the late Orville Bone and Victoria (Portell) Bone.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Eckhoff; son James Dale Eckhoff; daughter Nancy "Baby" Whitehead; brother Orville Bone; sister Mary Rose Hardin; two great grandchildren Jessica Halbert and Blake Halbert.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are two daughters Imogene "Peanut" Halbert and husband Milford of Caledonia; Diane "Fuzzy" Wiethuchter and husband Charles of St. Louis; sister Alice Aubuchon of Dittmer; her confidant and granddaughter Dianna Graff; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Dennis Halbert, Jeff Halbert, Travis Halbert, Bryan Graff, Chad Wiethuchter, Dan Wiethuchter and Curt Wiethuchter.

Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
