Betty Bobo

June 8, 1935 — September 9, 2022

Betty Lou Bobo of Terre du Lac, Missouri, was born on June 8, 1935 in Cadet, Missouri, a daughter to the late Arthur Henry Minx and the late Ollie Frances (Brimm) Minx. Betty went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 9, 2022 having reached the age of 87 years, 3 months and 1 day.

Betty was a faithful member of First Assembly of God, Potosi. Betty loved the Lord with all her heart and served Him with gladness. Some of her favorite times were traveling with Henry to gospel singings throughout Missouri. In years past, Betty was crafty and enjoyed making baby blankets, fashioning jewelry, and making porcelain dolls. Betty was a loving mother, an encourager, and a classy lady. She always wanted to make sure the needs of her family and friends were always met. She has left a legacy that will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Those left behind to treasure Betty’s memory are two daughters: Charlotte Lloyd and Donna Faye Martin; five grandchildren: Jason Martin, April Martin, Christopher Graf, Nicolas Graf (wife, Kim), and Phillip Lloyd; two great grandchildren: Adam Graf and Patrick Graf; two siblings: Jim Minx and Ruth Winkleman (husband, Jim); longtime companion and dear friend, Henry Reynolds; special nephew, Brian Bliss; nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

In addition to her father and mother, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Don Bobo; three sisters: Ann Thomas, Shirley Kirby, and Mary Bliss; two brothers: Bryce Minx and Bernard Minks; and an infant sister, Nancy Virginia Minx; and many other dear family members.
