Bessie Harry

Bessie Louise Harry of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on September 17, 2007 at Potosi, Missouri, having reached the age of 92 years, 8 months and 12 days. She was born at Milan, TN on January 5, 1915, a daughter of the late John and Nancy Ballard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Harry. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include two daughters, Peggy Reams of Bonne Terre and Patsy Higgins of Potosi; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. C. Bill Warren officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jerry Reams, Glen Reams, Mark Reams, Bill Kuntz, Ryan Reams and Terry Cary.

Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens, Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi, Missouri.
