Beaulah Hollinsworth

September 18, 1932 — February 9, 2019

Beaulah Ruthe Hollinsworth of Shirley, Missouri was born on September 18, 1932 in Brazil, Missouri, a daughter to the late Thomas E. Griggs and the late Marple H. (Matchell) Griggs. On September 6, 1952, Beaulah was united in marriage to Stanley Hollinsworth and they shared fifty-seven years together. Beaulah passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 86.

In addition to her parents, Beaulah was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Hollinsworth; granddaughter, Jennifer Loeffler; great grandson, Caleb Hollinsworth; sisters: Florence Masson and Iva Lee; brothers: Floyd Edward Griggs and Ronald Griggs.

Beaulah is survived by her two children: Janet Loeffler; Doug (Connie) Hollinsworth; five grandchildren: Keith (Calinda) Hollinsworth, Jason (Edna) Loeffler, Daniel (Tricia) Hollinsworth, Erica Keyes, Amy Keyes Brand and Jay; eight great grandchildren: Ryan Rickerd, Alicia Litton, Hailee Brand, Blake Hollinsworth, Alexis Hollinsworth Ashlyn Brand, Seth Lands, Adalie Hollinsworth; one great-great grandson, Mason Hollinsworth; eight siblings: Donna Griggs, Dianne (Lonnie) Masson, Thomas L. Griggs, Carolyn Sue (Ted) Pashia, Naomi Geraldine Lawson, Dorothy Wilkerson, Shirley Jean Griggs and Goldie June Bibb. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews, church family and dear friends.

Visitation was held Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Lakewood Missionary Baptist Church, 10177 State Hwy. AA, Potosi, MO 63664, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM.

A Funeral Service followed on Wednesday beginning at 11:00 AM at Lakewood Missionary Baptist Church with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating assisted by Elder Leonard Compton. Musical selections were: "Where The Roses Never Fade" by Graydon and Bonnie Mills, "Go Rest High" by Doug Hollinsworth, and "Lead Me Home" by Jamie Johnson.

Interment followed in the Lakewood Cemetery.
