Beatrice Alta Deibel also known by family and friends as Bea was born on July 15, 1924 in Flat River, Missouri, the youngest of eleven siblings whom all have preceded her in death. She was the daughter of the late Edward Lee Bannister and the late Josephine Elizabeth (Skaggs) Bannister.
In addition to her parents, Bea was preceded in death by her daughter Victoria Marie Howd and son, Louis Raymond Hamannd, Jr.
Bea passed away peacefully on Friday, July 6, 2018 having reached the age of ninety-three years, eleven months and twenty-one days.
Survivors include her beloved husband, Henry “Hank” Deibel; daughter, Patricia Louise (John) Little; step daughter, Pamela Sue (Daniel) Lowery; step sons: Henry “Ike” (Jan) Deibel; Bill (Ruth) Whitacre; seven grandchildren: John (Charlotte) Little, James (Joy) Little, Joseph (Vanessa) Little; JoAnna (Tim) Adkins, Julia Little, Megan (Morgan) Carney, and Sarah (Joshua) Stewart; nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday, July 14, from 12-1 p.m. at the DeClue Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 1 p.m. held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel. Interment and final prayers will be held in the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Bea’s family wishes to extend their gratitude to the entire staff at Potosi Manor Nursing Home as well as Preferred Hospice for the tender and loving care they gave during Bea’s illness.
