Barbara Summers

Barbara Jean Summers of Potosi, Missouri was born on January 4, 1950 in Stoney Point, Missouri a daughter to the late Leslie Edward Glore and the late Mary Marie (DeGonia) Glore. Barb was united in marriage to Arthur Wayne Summers and two children were born to this union.

Barb went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 23, 2018 having reached the age of sixty-eight years, seven months, and nineteen days.

In addition to her father and mother, Barb was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Summers; daughter, Pamela Sue Harbison; and two brothers: Leslie E. Glore, Jr., and Ray Dean Glore.

Survivors include her son, Joseph Summers and friend Melba Mester; grandson, Justin (Alyssa) Harbison; two granddaughters, Jarah (Dillon) Huff; Kali Summers; great-granddaughter, Emma Harbison; great-grandson, Emory Huff; sister, Bonnie (Bob) Pyatt; two brothers: Bill (Reda) Glore; Roger (Sharon) Glore; also surviving are dear brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral service will be held Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Bob Pyatt and Sis. Sharon Glore officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the New Diggins Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted into the care direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
