Barbara Halbert

February 8, 1941 — October 30, 2021

Barbara Louis Halbert of Potosi, Missouri, was born on February 8, 1941 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter to the late William Mincher and the late Minnie (Blair) Mincher. Barbara passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2021, having reached the age of eighty years, eight months, and twenty-two days.

Those who remain to cherish her memory include her husband, Robert “Bob” Halbert; son, Gary (Amy) Halbert; siblings: Bernadine Acreman, Harold (Vivian) Halbert of Potosi, Milford (Imogene) Halbert of Caledonia, Billy (Caroline) Halbert, and Virginia (Jack) Montgomery. Barbara is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Mincher; father and mother-in-law, Howard “Buck” and Rosalie Halbert; and brother-in-law, James Halbert.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 11 am to 1 pm at DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will immediately follow the visitation at 1 pm at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Mike Jarvis officiating. Interment will follow at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or the Parkinson’s Association, PO Box 61420, Staten Island, NY 10306.
