Barbara Jean Davis of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on March 14, 2012 at Des Peres Hospital having reached the age of sixty seven years, seven months and eleven days. She was born on August 3, 1944 at Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Oval Phares and Norma (Wilson) Phares.
On April 14, 1963, Bobbie was united in marriage to Terry Davis and they shared forty eight years together.
In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by a sister Mae Belle Phares.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Terry Davis of Potosi; two sons Raymond Davis of Potosi; David Davis and partner Jeff Campbell of Springfield; daughter Sarah (Ron) Nash of Bonne Terre; brothers Homer (Wilma) Phares of Potosi; Lacy (Joyce) Phares of Cherryville; sisters Faye (Gary) Henson of Mineral Point; Mildred (Garry) Sluder of Potosi; Lea (Scott) Mathenia of St. James; five grandchildren Caleb Nash, LaShae Mills, Madisyn Nash, Sophia Nash, Spencer Davis and great granddaughter MaKinlee Mills; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 10 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Matt Woods officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at Shirley Union Church Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
