Baby Karsynn "Kj" Trokey

Baby Karsynn Jordan Trokey, also lovingly known as “KJ”, of Potosi, Missouri, was born on January 14, 2022, in St Louis, Missouri, a son of Justin Trokey and Courtney Nigro. KJ went to be with Jesus in Heaven on May 23, 2023, having reached the age of 1 year and 4 months.

Those who remain to treasure his memory include his parents: Justin Trokey and Courtney Nigro; siblings: Kaedann, Korbynn, and twin, Amelia Trokey; Papa and Nana, Kenneth & Melissa Coleman; Grandma, Sandra Trokey; Big Papa, Vincent Coleman; Mama, Norma Jean Coleman; Great Grammy, Karen Hampton; uncle, Kyle "Uncle Ky Ky" Coleman; aunt, Lindsey "Aunt Z" Wilson (husband, Dylan "uncle Dyl"); and cousin bestie, Emberlynn Wilson.

KJ was preceded in death by his grandpa, Teddy Trokey; great-great grandparents, Herman & Katherine Bone; aunt, Bailey "Aunt B" Coleman; and cousin, Kevin Jarvis.

KJ was truly a miracle baby, born prematurely at 1 lb. 7 ounces, with less than a 1% chance of living directly after birth. He defied all odds that were stacked against him. He loved to play with his blue elephant, was a cuddle bug, and a mamma's boy. He followed the sisters and cousin around as they ran the roost. He had a big bright smile and loved to make others smile, too. He will be greatly missed by his family.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 5 to 8 pm at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 9 to 10 am.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 24, 2023, at 10 am, officiated by Pastor Lloyd Pierce.
