August Bader

August Eugene Bader of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on November 19, 2009 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of eighty one years, eleven months and four days. He was born on December 15, 1927 at Flat River, Missouri a son to the late William A. Bader and Pearl (Politte) Bader.
On June 30, 1984, Gene was united in marriage to Carolyn Sue Bequette and they shared twenty five years.
In addition to his parents, Gene was preceded in death by two daughters Margaret Bader, Sharron Price; sister Helen Cowen; grandson Trevor Spink and a brother William A. Bader.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are his wife Carolyn Bader of Potosi; daughter Pam Owens of Flat River; three sons Michael Bader of Oregan; Billy Bader of Festus, Anthony Bader of Terre Du Lac; sister in law Marilyn Emily of Potosi; sister Peggy Rosalis of St. Louis; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 11 AM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Bro. Briant Wicker officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Steven Bader, Billy Bader Jr., Clinton Wicker, Jess Hopple, Robbie Wills, Wendelle Emily Jr, Cody Bader and Victor Henson.
Interment and final prayers were held at the New Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
