Audrie Ward

Audrie Lee Ward of Irondale, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 15, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her family having reached the age of seventy three years, ten months and twenty one days. She was born on February 25, 1942, in Richwoods, Missouri, a daughter to the late Elisha McKinley Cantrell and the late Eliza Jane (Cain) Cantrell.

On December 29, 1956, Audrie was united in marriage to Theodore Ward in Mineral Point, Missouri and they shared fifty nine years together.

Audrie is survived by her beloved husband Theodore "Hank" Ward of Irondale; eight children Lester Ward and wife Lisa of Neck City, Missouri; Donald Ward and wife Clair of Neck City; Donna Kean and husband Mike of Neck City; Joseph Ward of Neck City; Mike Ward and wife Laura of Neck City; Lena Daugherty and husband Cecil of Joplin, MO.; Stacy Ward and wife Christy of Leadwood, MO.; Jason Ward and wife Kristie of Joplin;one sister Mamie Cantrell of Bonne Terre.; also surviving are many grandchildren, relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, Audrie was preceded in death by her grandson Brian Allen Wills and nine siblings Pearl Cantrell, John Dixon Cantrell, Edna Mae Cantrell, Noah Joseph Cantrell, Carl Ray Cantrell, Austin Samuel Cantrell, Clyde Hilary Cantrell, Irene Isabell Cantrell and Marion Cantrell.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 17, from 4:30-8:00 pm and Monday, January 18, from 9-11 am at the DeClue Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Audrie will be conducted Monday, January 18, at 11 am held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the New Diggins Cemetery, Mineral Point, Missouri.
