Audrey Armstrong

Audrey Charlene Armstrong of St. Charles, Missouri departed this life on August 17, 2009 at the St. Joseph Medical Center having reached the age of seventy four years, eight months and one day. She was born on December 16, 1934 at Kennett, Missouri a daughter to the late Fred Faulkerson and Mary (Gaddis) Faulkerson.

Audrey was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, quilting and tending to her flowers.

In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband James Armstrong; two brothers Hal Faulkerson, Oney Faulkerson; three sisters Helen Winslade, Stella Ruble, Hazel Dunn; step son Jerry Armstrong.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are two sons Jim Armstrong and wife Lisa of St. Charles; Roy Bridgewater and wife Sandy of Richardson, Texas; daughter Joyce Horstmeier and husband Charles of Santa Fe, Missouri; sister Mary Nixon and husband Clyde of Potosi; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 2 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Dwane Nixon, Tom Ruble, Owen Bourbon, Bill Ruble, Kenny Ruble and Jason Dunn.

Interment and final prayers were held at Hopewell Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
