Arvin Gensler

September 29, 1941 — November 30, 2010

Arvin Eugene Gensler of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on November 30, 2010 at his residence having reached the age of sixty nine years, two months and one day. He was born on September 29, 1941 at Bonne Terre, Missouri a son to the late William Glen Gensler and Ethel Ruth (Politte) Gensler.

On November 30, 1963, Dean, as everyone knew him, was united in marriage to Judy Wade and they shared forty seven years together.

Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports of all kinds. He would listen for hours to country/bluegrass music. He was fair and giving to anyone who came into his life and he loved with open arms and a huge caring heart. But his two greatest loves, above all, was God and his family.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Judy Gensler of Mineral Point; two daughters Jeannie Hinkle and husband Gary of Mineral Point, Carla Bone and husband Leonard of Mineral Point; son Michael Gensler and fiancé Melissa Runyon of Desloge; two brothers Billy Joe Gensler and wife Elmita of Mineral Point, Gary Gensler and wife Mary of Mineral Point; sister Betty Wade and husband Rick of Desloge; seven grandchildren Nathan Hinkle and wife Natalie, Justin Hinkle, Jeremy Bone, Tyler Bone, Zachary Bone, Nicholas Quiles, Megan Hinkle; one great grandchild Ayden Hinkle; three grandchildren to be Elizabeth Runyon, Marc Runyon, John Runyon; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Rick Wade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Eric Wade, Roger Anderson, Christopher Gensler, Aaron Williams and D.J. Portell.

Interment and final prayers were held at New Diggins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
