Archie Edward White, 85, of Farmington, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019. He was born on February 4, 1933 in Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Russell White and the late Josephine (Trokey) White. On January 24, 1953, Archie was united in marriage to Margie Masson-Partney and they shared sixty-six years together.
Archie will be missed by all those who knew and loved him including his beloved wife, Margie White of Farmington; one son, Rodney (Jean) White; one daughter, Donna (Mike) Nelson; one sister, Linda Winerger; three grandchildren: Brian White, Andy White and Mike (Jaclynn) Nelson Jr.; one great grandson, Presley Nelson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Bill (Kathy) Masson, Leslie (Laura) Partney, Harvey Partney and Edward Partney; also surviving are nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In addition to his father and mother, Archie is preceded in death by two sisters: Mildred Daily and Betty Pinson; brothers-in-law: Clifford Daily, George Pinson, Kenneth Winerger; sisters-in-law: Lucy Partney, Betty Partney and Dorothy Yarbrough.
Visitation was held Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 5-8 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation resumed on Monday, February 4, 2019 at the Abundant Life Family Church from 9-10 AM.
Funeral Services were conducted Monday, February 4, 2019 at 10 AM with Pastor Rick Hensley officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO. Archie received full military honors consisting of Gun Salute, TAPS, Flag Folding and Presentation by the United States Army. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted into the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
