Archie Lahmann

September 23, 1939 — February 17, 2007

Archie Leo Lahmann of Sedalia, Missouri departed this life on February 17, 2007 at his residence, having reached the age of 67 years, 4 months and 25 days. He was born at Shirley, Missouri on September 23, 1939, a son of the late Edgar Orville Lahmann and Alice Susan (Charboneau) Lahmann.

On November 21, 1975 he was united in marriage to Patti Kelly at St. Louis, Missouri. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren and Haley, his six year old granddaughter, whom he called ?Monkey Bug?. He was the type of person to help anyone in need. Leo enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on his ?49 Chevy Pick-up. He was a small engine mechanic who enjoyed working on lawn mowers and things in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by three brothers, George Lahmann, Howard Earl Lahmann, Virgil Lahmann; and one sister, Wilma Ruth ?Judy? Lahmann.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his wife, Patti Lahmann of Sedalia; four daughters, Susan Skaggs of Sedalia, Margret Lahmann of Sedalia, Angela Peterson, Bernice Weaver of Kansas City; two sons, Gary Lahmann of Sedalia, Paul Lahmann of Lawton, OK; a sister, Lorene Marler of Potosi, a brother, Russell Lahmann and wife Betty of Potosi, eleven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted at 2PM on Friday, February 23, 2007 at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Matt Yarbrough, Christopher Cusomano, Wilber Yarbrough, Jason Minor, Jeremy Minor and Gary Lahmann.

Interment and final prayers were held at Yarbrough Cemetery, Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
