Annabel Patterson

Annabel Patterson of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on October 3, 1926 in Belgrade, a daughter to the late Fred Henry Akers and the late Hattie Gladys (Bouse) Akers. Annabel entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the Mercy Jefferson Hospital having reached ninety-one years of age.

Annabel will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her five children: James Akers of Potosi, Sandy Parker and Terry of Arcadia, Thomas Patterson and Christina of Cadet, Timothy Patterson of Mineral Point, and Shelly Marie Patterson of Mineral Point; daughter-in-law, Patricia Akers; sister, Mamie Lee Wigger; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; also surviving are many extended family members and dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Annabel is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herman "Pat" Patterson; three sons: Daniel "Danny" Patterson, Kenneth "Ray" Akers, and David Lee Akers; grandson, David James "DJ" Akers; great granddaughters: Ali Akers and Shayley Akers; and four siblings: Dorothy Jane Andrews, William "Bill" Akers, Fred Akers, Jr. and Perry Dale Akers.

Visitation for Annabel will be held on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Friday, January 12, 2018, beginning at 8:30 AM.

A funeral service to honor Annabel will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Carl Wilson officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at the Pleasant Hill Christian Cemetery, Potosi.
