Anna Robart

April 24, 1930 — December 29, 2007

Anna Marie Robart of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on December 29, 2007 at Georgian Gardens Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri, having reached the age of seventy-seven years, eight months and five days. She was born at Cadet, Missouri on April 24, 1930, a daughter of the late Joseph Osme Portell and Ida Magdeline Politte Portell.

She was united in marriage to Eli Alphonsus Robart on April 27, 1948 at Cadet, Missouri and they shared over 59 years of marriage together. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a great love of cooking, gardening and family. She was a member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church for seventy seven years, being baptized and then married by Father Bernard Suellentrop in the Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Everett Portell, Simon Portell, Milton Portell; two brothers-in-law, Orville ?Dude? Bone and Ray Cavins.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her husband, Eli Robart of Cadet; a daughter, Diane Courtois of Potosi; three sons, Jim Robart of Cadet, Garry Robart and wife Donna of Cadet, Eddie Robart and significant other, Patty Coffee of Cadet; three sisters, Betty Bone of Desoto, Rose Cavins of Potosi, Susie Bayless and husband Allen; a brother, Joe Portell of Potosi; six grandchildren, Scott Courtois and wife Michelle of Potosi, Eric Courtois of Potosi, Jamie Courtois and friend Jarrod Knapp of Potosi, Justin Robart, Nichole Robart and Brian Coffee; two great grandchildren, Kaleb and Miley Courtois; five step great grandchildren Jacob Coffee, Madison Luther, Taylor Luther, Kyle Luther and Brylee Coffee fourteen nieces and nephews; eight great nieces and nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 10 AM at St. Joachim Church, Old Mines, Missouri, with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Brian Coffee, Garry Robart, Ed Robart, Mike Bone, Robert Bone, Scott Courtois, Harry Robart and Jarrod Knapp.

Interment and final prayers were held at St. Joachim Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
